STEAM Music Family Workshops - Electronic Building Blocks (Tickets SOLD OUT)

 

The Music Office will present two STEAM Music Family Workshops which are designed for children with their accompanying parents to enjoy music making through the application of electronic building blocks.

 

Guest Speaker:
Dr. Leung Chi-hin – Assistant Professor at the Department of Cultural and Creative Arts, The Education University of Hong Kong

 

Dr. Leung received his Doctor of Music (Composition) degree, Master of Philosophy (Composition) degree, Bachelor of Education (Music) degree and Professional Diploma (Electronic Music) from The Chinese University of Hong Kong, The University of Hong Kong, The Hong Kong Institute of Education (currently retitled as The Education University of Hong Kong) and The Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts respectively. He is the Vice Chairman of Hong Kong Composers’ Guild (HKCG) and Vice President of the Hong Kong Association for Music Educators (HAME).

 

Workshop Details:

Time 11am-12pm / 1pm-2pm
Venue Classroom, G/F, Hong Kong Science Museum
Suitable for Children aged 7 - 10 and parents(10 pairs per workshop)
Tickets
  • $120 ($40 for 1 child and $80 for 1 parent), now available at URBTIX
  • Participants (in pairs) shall purchase 1 adult ticket and 1 child ticket at the same time, and the Music Office reserves the right to refuse entry of patrons not as a pair of “1 parent and 1 child”.
Remarks
  • The workshops will be conducted in Cantonese.
  • The Music Office reserves the rights to change the programme and the speaker.
  • Depending on the latest deveoplment of COVID-19 pandemic, the programme may be cancelled. Latest activity news will be announced on “Music Office Concert Series” Facebook and Instagram pages.
