The Performing Arts Fun Day 2025 presents a gala of dazzling showcase of music, dance and drama by talented local young artists and performing arts enthusiasts from the neighborhood.  Join us and immerse yourself in the enchanting world of performing arts on Sunday, 25 May!

Shape of Harmony – Kwai Tsing 3.0 Acappella Music Project: Opening Concert by Boonfaysau

3pm - 4:30pm

“18dART Community Arts Scheme in Kwai Tsing District”, Shape of Harmony — Kwai Tsing 3.0 Acappella Music Project will launch with an opening concert to inaugurate the project.  The concert will feature performance by Boonfaysau and AMuiXis (AMX), along with the participants from Shape of Harmony — Kwai Tsing 2.0 showcasing their progress and achievements from the previous project.  This concert promotes the upcoming project launching in June and invites community members to join in and experience the distinctive artistry and joy of a cappella music.

by Kwai Chung & Tsing Yi District Culture & Arts Co-ordinating Association

Alan & Becky Dance Group is a dance group subordinates to the Kwai Chung & Tsing Yi District Culture & Arts Co-ordinating Association that aims at promoting dance culture, and providing professional and comprehensive dance training for children and teenagers.  Showing the public the charm of dance, this performance will feature different types of distinctive Chinese ethnic dances, as well as contemporary dance, ballet, jazz dance and more.  The performance will help to foster the development of dance in local communities, making a contribution to society and serving the community.

*Free admission by ticket with free seating. Limited places available on a first-come-first-served basis.
*Tickets will be distributed at the Foyer of Kwai Tsing Theatre from 12 noon on the day of the activity.
*Each person is allowed up to two tickets for each activity.
*Reserved places will be allocated to others if the ticket holders fail to show up within 10 minutes after the activity has started.

Jazz Performance by Count-In Music

The three members of The Hong Kong Youth Jazz Collective will delight the audience with a variety of jazz music genres, including Swing, Bossa Nova and Latin. During the concert, Lui Ngao-yuen, the band’s founder, will introduce the audience to the world of jazz with guided appreciation, while the young musicians will share the joy of learning about and playing jazz music. Repertoire includes: All the things You Are, The ⁠Nearness of You, Black Orpheus and When You Wish Upon a Star, etc.

Interactive Theatre The Kingdom of Fairy Tales 
by Ming Ri Institute For Arts Education
Free Admission (Ticket not required)

An interactive storytelling theatre that uses puppets and props for a rendering of Hong Kong children’s favourite classic fairy tales, including Beauty and the Beast, The Three Little Pigs and The Tortoise and the Hare, inviting the audience to rediscover the joy of “reading” stories.
