Lantern Display

The Lantern Carnival is themed Chinese Lanterns: An Enduring Heritage. It features a 6-metre ornate palace lantern along with cute little lions playing fish on the pond made by local paper-crafting master, all of which contribute to the inheritance of traditional craftsmanship and culture. This year's dazzling lantern displays showcase various animal lanterns, including colorful peacocks, lively and cute pandas and squirrels, welcoming the Year of the Snake with visitors and wishing everyone good fortune. The Youth Night and Gala Night feature various stage performances and activities that highlight Chinese cultural characteristics. These include ethnic songs and dances by the Guizhou Performance & Arts Group, lantern riddle quiz, inclusive performances that connect people of all ages and different abilities, and lion dances, celebrating the Chinese New Year together with visitors.
