Tai Po Sports Centre

Introduction

Tai Po Sports Centre is located at No.13, Ting Tai Road, Tai Po (Adjacent to Tai Po Swimming Pool). It was commissioned on 7 September 1990. The sports centre aims at providing various recreation and sports facilities to the public. Both individuals and organizations are welcomed to hire the facilities during the opening hours. Besides, there are different kinds of recreation and sports programmes to be held in the sports centre. Members of the public are encouraged to participate in it.

Facilities

  • multi-purpose arena which can be used as 8 badminton courts / 2 basketball courts / 2 volleyball courts
  • 1 dance room of 108 m2 (ancillary facilities: sound equipment, exercise mats, wall mirrors and dance bars)
  • 3 squash courts each of 62.4 m2 which can be converted into table tennis rooms or multi-purpose activity rooms (ancillary facilities: sound equipment, exercise mats and mirrors)
  • 1 no. of Fitness Room (108 m2)
  • Men's and ladies' toilets cum changing rooms
  • Barrier Free Facilities: Accessible Toilet, Accessible Lift (with Assistive Listening System), Tactile Guide Path, Visual Fire Alarm System, Braille Directory Map/Floor Plan
  • 1 car park with 9 parking spaces (including 1 accessible parking space)


Opening Hours

7am to 11pm daily (except maintenance days)


Maintenance Day

7am to 1pm on the 2nd & 4th Monday of each month
(If a maintenance day falls on a public holiday, it will be rescheduled to the next working day.)
