Java Road Sports Centre

Introduction

Java Road Sports Centre, which was commissioned in July 1992, is located on 3/F to 5/F of the Java Road Municipal Services Building, 99 Java Road, North Point (adjacent to the North Point Ferry Pier). The Sports Centre provides a wide range of leisure facilities for booking by members of the public and organisations during the opening hours. Moreover, the Sports Centre also organises various kinds of sports and recreation programmes each month for the public's participation.

Facilities

  • A multi-purpose arena is provided. It can be converted into 1 basketball court / 1 volleyball court/ 4 badminton courts.
  • 3 squash courts are provided. *(1 squash court can be converted into 1 table tennis room or 1 small activity room during non-peak hours(Ancillary facilities: gymnastic mats))
  • A multi-purpose squash court is provided. It can be converted into 1 table tennis room.(Ancillary facilities: gymnastic mats)
  • A multi-purpose squash court is provided. It can be converted into 1 table tennis room or 1 small activity room.(Ancillary facilities: gymnastic mats)
  • 2 activity rooms covering the areas of 108 M2 and 126 M2 respectively are provided.(Ancillary facilities: wall mirrors, dance bars, sound equipment and gymnastic mats)
  • A dance room covering an area of 120 M2 is provided.(Ancillary facilities: wall mirrors, dance bars, sound equipment and gymnastic mats)
  • A children's playroom is provided.
  • A table tennis room with 3 table tennis tables is provided.
  • An American pool room is provided.
  • Men's and ladies' changing rooms and toilets
  • A first aid room
  • Barrier Free Facilities: Accessible Toilet, Accessible Lift (with Assistive Listening System), Tactile Guide Path, Visual Fire Alarm System, Braille Directory Map/Floor Plan.
  • A fitness room covering an area of 144 M2 is provided.

7am to 11pm daily (except maintenance days)


Maintenance Day

7am to 1pm on the 1st & 3rd Monday of each month
(If a maintenance day falls on a public holiday, it will be rescheduled to the next working day.)
