Along the way, you will witness the discoveries made and the new ideas brought by these heroic explorers such as Mariner, Viking and Voyager.
Created with latest high definition imagery and scientific data, this film will take you to the heart of solar system and the surface of its planets and moons before reaching out to the outer planets and beyond. This unforgettable voyage is about to begin, will you join us to touch the stars?
"Touch the Stars 3D" Trailer
Viking 1
Viking 1 was the first spacecraft that landed on Mars with its mission completed. Equipped with a robotic arm and an onboard biological laboratory, it collected soil samples from its landing site in order to search for the evidence of life and analyze the chemical composition of Mars' surface.
Moon Io in front of Jupiter
Galileo was the first spacecraft to orbit Jupiter. It sent a descent probe into Jupiter to gather information about the planet's atmosphere. It discovered extensive volcanic activities on Io, evidence for the existence of saltwater ocean beneath Europa's icy surface and a magnetic field generated by Ganymede.
View of Neptune from the passing Voyager 2
Launched in 1977, Voyager 1 and Voyager 2 were initially designed to explore Jupiter, Saturn, Saturn's rings and the larger moons of the two planets in their five-year lifetimes. After completing all objectives successfully, the mission was extended. Voyager 1 became the first spacecraft to enter the interstellar space in 2012. Voyager 2 went on to explore Uranus and Neptune before reaching the interstellar space in 2018. Their original five-year mission is stretched to more than forty now.
