Visiting Rules

To show proper consideration for the exhibits on display and to ensure a pleasant visit for everyone, visitors should note the following:

 

  • Please do not use flashes, other lighting apparatus or tripods for photography or filming in this Centre.
  • Please do not write on, mark, soil or damage any exhibit, installation, wall or facility in this Centre.
  • This Centre is a historical building set in a layout of a Hakka walled village. Please beware of uneven headroom and floor levels (such as archways, cockloft, steps and thresholds), and of the granite flooring, which maybe slippery when the humidity is high or on rainy days. Please do not run or play in the Centre to avoid accidents.
  • Please do not smoke, eat or drink in the Centre to keep the facilities clean and tidy.
  • To maintain a quiet and pleasant environment, please do not make excessive noise.
  • Visitors must comply with the "Museums Regulation" (Cap. 132, section 105I) and any other rules set by this Centre as and when required.
