ICH @ Schools Programme Series

ICH Picture Book Series —— Puppetry Performance

Through the Partnership Project of Intangible Cultural Heritage (ICH) Funding Scheme, the Intangible Cultural Heritage Office (ICHO) will publish a series of 10 ICH Picture Books between 2021 and 2024 to introduce distinctive ICH items of Hong Kong. The ICH Picture Books aims to promote ICH knowledge with vivid stories and to provide interesting teaching materials for teachers and parents, so that the children may understand and care about Hong Kong's ICH items. To enhance educational effectiveness, the ICHO has invited Fantasy Puppet Theatre to produce several new puppet shows based on the contents of the Picture Books and to perform at participating schools. Students may experience the cultural significances embodied in ICH through the amazing puppetry performance and its interactive theatre.
