"Arts Buddies 2019" Finale
The "Arts Buddies 2019" programme, jointly organised by the Education Bureau, Hong Kong Heritage
Museum, the Hong Kong Arts Development Council, Hong Kong Baptist University and The Chinese
University of Hong Kong, has come to an end. From January to April 2019, University Buddies and
School Buddies from secondary schools took part in a series of art activities, including on-site
training in art appreciation, talks on restoration of artworks and curation of exhibitions, and
visits to local artists' workshops, for enriching their ability to appreciate and share art with
others. The finale of the programme was held on 4 May in the theatre of Hong Kong Heritage
Museum, where the participants shared what they had learned in the programme, and some
outstanding buddies received prizes.

In the "On-site Training of Art Appreciation" workshop, the participants are led by Mr Yeung Sau-cheuk to visit exhibitions and learn about art appreciation.
