If there is no civilization, no light pollution, the planet is not like the Earth nowadays, standing at the same location, looking up the starry sky, what does the space look like?
Choi Sai-ho reconstructed time and space by image and sound to create another space, as an imagination of parallel time and space as well as multiverse, for the audience who would experience the barren space and universe, and observe the formation and the evolution of nebulas.
Choi Sai-ho
Media artist and composer Choi Sai-ho graduated with a Master of Fine Arts in Creative Media at the City University of Hong Kong. He was awarded the Young Artist (Media Arts) of Hong Kong Arts Development Awards 2012, and received the Outstanding Achievement in Music for Dance at the 2015 Hong Kong Dance Awards for Hong Kong Dance Company's "Storm Clouds". His multimedia work "Collide" was honoured in Germany's Visual Music Award 2016. Choi's works and performances were featured at the Perform Media Festival (USA), VideoBrasil Festival (Brazil), Electron Festival (Switzerland), Sónar Hong Kong, Hong Kong Contemporary Art Biennial 2009, the 42nd Hong Kong Arts Festival, and more. The art film "Brighton Is Our Playground" was released in 2016 and exhibited at Brighton Museum & Art Gallery in UK. His work "Mars, the Bringer of War" was premiered at the RTHK "Our Hong Kong Young Notes" concert performing with City Chamber Orchestra of Hong Kong in 2017. Furthermore, "Freezing Night.Tram Depot" was longlisted in Lumen Prize 2018 – Moving Image category.
