To realise the infinite imagination and ideas at Oi! and to let creativity sparkle, we will organise a conference in December 2013 to invite artists, scholars and practitioners in the art and cultural circles from mainland China, Taiwan, Macau and Hong Kong to discuss how art intervenes society, how art enhances the quality of life and ways of living of people, as well as the challenges and hot issues of community based art projects. Through sharing and studying of different cases, the conference will go through the projects directed or co-created by the communities and the artists. By summarising the experience and analysing the problems encountered, participants would then be able to draw conclusion and recommendations for the development of community art in future.
