The city as a construct to be revealed
A hundred years ago, the space of Oi!, with the sea at the front and mountains at the back, was for recreational use. Today, under rapid development, the space has been transformed into an art and cultural hub for the general public. In city centre, mountains and sea are no longer adjacent to us. The city landscape has been changing all the time. In relation to this, artist Tobias Klein created an installation artwork– ‘CUT & SEA'. The two works playfully reveal the historical and environmental characteristics and the making of the city.
