'Contagious Reading' explores the infectious and influential qualities of books. Focusing on the theme of the 'library', Lawrence Pun will write seven tales to stimulate the imagination and thoughts about the possibilities offered by libraries, while Pak Sheung Chuen will organise workshops by drawing inspiration from these stories and invite the public to contribute to the creative process. The outcome will be presented in the form of a reading room, and the two artists will, in a series of extended activities, share their insights into the power of reading and art.
Join us as we rediscover the importance of reading in the age of the Internet and respond to the theme of 'Contagious Cities' using books as a medium.
