The
Bi-City
Biennale
of
Urbanism
\
Architecture
Hong
Kong
2019
was
held
in
two
cities,
Shenzhen
and
Hong
Kong
simultaneously
with
the
theme
on
architecture
and
urbanism.
It
aims
to
create
a
platform
to
exchange
the
ideas
on
placemaking
between
the
public
and
the
artists,
architects
and
designers.
In
the
Shenzhen
exhibition,
the
architects
Allan
Au,
Wyan
Yeung,
Dylan
Kwok,
Wai
Tang
&
Keith
Lam
from
Hong
Kong
re-interpret
the
unique
story
about
Hong
Kong's
daily
life
in
different
art
forms
under
the
theme
"Art
by
Architecture".
Inspired
by
seesaw
in
the
childhood,
See-Saw-Scene
created
by
Allan
Au
and
Wyan
Yeung
invites
visitors
to
explore
the
balance
with
body
movement
in
both
auditory
and
somatosensory
senses.
The
swinging
movement
triggers
the
urban
sound
devices
enabling
visitors
to
revisit
their
precious
memories
and
experience
a
scene
from
daily
life
in
Hong
Kong.
🙊🙈🙉
created
by
Dylan
Kwok
is
a
set
of
enjoyable,
playful
and
relaxing
furniture
transformed
from
a
public
bench
project.
Peppered
with
humour
and
fun,
his
work
demonstrates
how
people
are
addicted
to
mobile
devices
and
how
technology
blurs
the
distinction
between
together
and
alone.

Plus,
invites
visitors
entering
into
the
world
of
amazing
eye-popping
illusions
by
twisting
unique
Hong
Kong
skyline
into
a
colourful
kaleidoscope,
as
if
people
feel
lost
when
gazing
at
the
scenes
and
peer
into
the
mind
of
an
android.
