About the Arts Group

Pants Theatre Production was established in December 1995 and since 2012, has been receiving one-year grant from the Hong Kong Arts Development Council. With years of development, the company has gained a foothold in Hong Kong theatre. Pants Theatre Production acts as a catalyst to produce works that reflect and respond to the Hong Kong society. The company believes that theatre can be the witness of our time, as well as advocating changes for a better world.

About the Project

The project focuses on how the lives of previous generations of both Chinese and ethnic minority immigrants took root in Hong Kong. Through the lens of ethnodrama, Pants Theatre Production unfolds the history of migration in Hong Kong and the moving stories behind.

All workshops will be conducted in English and Cantonese.
