Acclaimed Poetess’ Fascinating Verses Captured in Contemporary Dances

'Under the unique aesthetic hue of the Song dynasty, traces of Song lyrics' elegant tones drift by intermittently.' — Xinmin Evening News

The dance drama centres around the tumultuous life of the famous Song dynasty poetess Li Qingzhao.  By showcasing Li's romantic world from a modern and creative perspective, the programme aims to promote traditional Chinese culture with such touching works.  Through recreating scenes of her life journey from youthful idealism to profound resilience, the dance drama embodies her lyrical verses capturing themes of love and loss; and celebrates her strength and optimism in adversity, her unwavering pursuit of cultural inheritance and her noble spirit.
