Cine Memories of the War of National Resistance

Introduction

The annual programme ‘Cine Memories of the War of National Resistance' presents free screenings of films about the War of National Resistance. This year, we proudly offer Ten Thousand Li Ahead (1941) and Road (1959), both set in the War of Resistance Against Japan and both featuring filmmakers who had personal experience of the conflict. Both films celebrate the spirit of camaraderie during difficult times, that if we remain united while sharing the same boat, we will have eventual victory.
