Hong Kong Filmmakers Search
Biographical notes of filmmakers are one of the most important keys to understanding and researching their times and works. The ‘biographical notes' chapter is therefore a staple in many thematic books published by the Hong Kong Film Archive over the years. For the convenience of the public, a ‘Hong Kong Filmmakers Search' section has been added to this webpage. Biographical notes of both local and overseas filmmakers having served in the Hong Kong film industry, such as producers, directors, screenwriters, actors, cinematographers and editors, contained in publications previously released by the Archive will be made available online after being updated. The Archive will continue to consolidate and upload the biographical notes of other filmmakers.
