Taking over the boss position vacated by her husband, the Big Sister – putting a feminist twist on the honorable triad boss archetype – must lead her men into the legit business world with her restaurant. However, in each episode, Big Sister is forced to wield her power in the crime world in order to help the powerless. In episode two, rage forced Big Sister into saving a former dim sum girl-turned-pop star that is forced into prostitution by the triads. In episode three, Big Sister discovers her maternal instinct when she agrees to care for the son of a former gang follower who had to run for his life after framed by the triads. Due to print source, two minutes were missing from the ending of Episode 3.
