Triad Story

Former triad boss Fong has just gotten out of prison and just wants to live a peaceful life away from the crime world. However, when his daughter falls into the arms of arrogant, ambitious young gangster Jason, Fong gathers up his old gang to take his daughter back. Stephen Chow has an early-career dramatic role in this crime film as Fong’s son. However, the show belongs to the older generation, especially Ko Chun-hsiung as Fong and Shing Fui-On as Fong’s short-tempered comrade-in-arms. Like many modern triad films, the film presents a clear gap in values between moral-bound old-school gangsters and ruthless, violent young bloods. Featuring brutal violence, as well as foul language and triad terms, this film is absolutely not suitable for children.
