The triad goes to New York in Siu Wing’s crime drama. Alan Tang stars as Lui, a respected New York Chinatown triad figure who is framed by rival Chao (Melvin Wong Kam-sun) and ended up in jail. Chinatown soon collapses into chaos and the police is forced to sneak Lui back to Chinatown to end the gang war. Lui is all too happy for the chance to take revenge. Tang dominates every one of his scenes in the film with a commanding performance as the honorable gangster who is both intelligent and loyal, making him the epitome of the heroic gangster icon.
