Suspension of Craft hiring services
Tai Mei Tuk Regatta 2013 will be held on 29-30 June 2013 (Saturday and Sunday) at Tai Mei Tuk Water Sports Centre. All hiring services including Windsurfing, Sailing and Kayaking will be suspended during the Regatta. Moreover, on 27-28 June 2013 (Thursday and Friday) our Centre will provide the craft hiring services for Kayak only. However, "Leisure Link" and enquiry services will not be affected. We apologize for any inconvenience caused.

"St. Stephen's Beach Canoe Polo Competition 2013" will be held on 9 June 2013 (Sunday) at St. Stephen's Beach Water Sports Centre. All hiring services will be suspended on that day. We apologize for any inconvenience caused.

Tai Mei Tuk Regatta 2013

St. Stephen's Beach Canoe Polo Competition 2013
St. Stephen's Beach Canoe Polo Competition 2013 will be held on 9 June 2013 at St. Stephen's Beach Water Sports Centre. Applicants should submit the Application Forms to the centre from 25 April 2013 to 9 May 2013. Please see below Competition Notice for details:

Improvement construction at Tai Mei Tuk Water Sports Centre lobby and boatshed
The lobby of Tai Mei Tuk Water Sports Centre will be temporarily closed from 25th February to 30th April 2013 for improvement work. During the closure period, you may use the microwave oven, refrigerator and drinking hot water in the classroom No.1 at the platform.

The boatshed of our Centre will be temporarily and partially closed from 4th March to 31st May 2013 for improvement work. During the closure period, some of our craft hiring services will be suspended. We apologize for the inconvenience caused.

Retirement of Laser 13
Due to the discontinuity of production for the obsolete "Laser 13" dinghy, the water sports centres are difficult to continue to repair the dinghies. Thus, the craft hiring service for "Laser 13" dinghy at Tai Mei Tuk and Wong Shek Water Sports Centres will be suspended with effect from 1 February 2013.

Entry Requirement for Sailing Trips
Leisure and Cultural Services Department has already completed a thorough review on the sailing trip programmes organized by the LCSD water sports centres. With effective from 1st January 2011, the minimum entry requirement of sailing trip will be revised as below. The entry requirements for the other levels of sailing trips remain unchanged. Thank you for your kind attention

Entry Requirement for Kayaking Sea Trips
Leisure and Cultural Services Department has already completed a thorough review on the kayaking sea trip programmes organized by the LCSD water sports centres. With effective from 1st December 2010, the minimum entry requirement of kayaking sea trip will be revised from holder of 1 Star Award to 3 Star Award or Kayak Elementary Certificate. The revision of the entry requirement for the rest of other levels of kayaking sea trips, please make reference from monthly programme sheets of water sports centres , related publicity materials or contact staff at any water sports centres.
