Adjacent to Stanley Main Beach, the Stanley Main Beach Water Sports Centre is situated in the Southern District, Hong Kong Island. Facing Tai Tam Bay and opposite D'Aguilar Peninsula, the Centre is a perfect place for water sports. Tai Tam Bay is in relatively calm sea conditions in summer as it is sheltered from southwesterly winds and waves by Stanley Peninsula, making it an ideal place for novices to acquire the basic skills. In autumn, fresh easterly to northeasterly winds are prevalent. The heavy sea conditions within the Bay provide a perfect platform for water sports lovers to display their skills to the full.
