The Jockey Club Wong Shek Water Sports Centre > Introduction

Overlooking Long Harbour in Sai Kung East, the Jockey Club Wong Shek Water Sports Centre enjoys a magnificent location. The waters are ideal for sailing, windsurfing and canoeing with easy access to the open sea and superb coastal scenery.

The Centre is surrounded by mountains from three sides, thus forming a natural barrier for beginners to practise their skills in the waters just outside the Centre and in inner bay of To Kwa Peng. Enjoying the scenic view of Grass Island and Kau Lau Wan in the distance, experienced water sports lovers can practise sailing or paddling on the sea northeast to the Centre. Sometimes, they will travel to Hoi Ha Marine Park by taking part in the sea trips organised by the Centre. The Centre is full of tropical feeling in summer. In winter, even in low temperature, by wearing the wet suit provided by the Centre, water sports lovers can still enjoy life and challenge themselves in the vast expanse of water. The centre closed on Tuesday.
