Guide to Applicant / Craft Users

(1)  Applicant and craft users must be aged 14 or above and 8 or above respectively and able to swim at least 50 metres.
(2)  Craft users aged below 18 must seek consent from their parents / guardian or by persons authorized by their parents / guardian by signing the "Declaration" at the booking form for craft hiring.
(3)  Craft users must wear life jackets / buoyancy aids, self-owned sleeved T-shirt; heel-protected and toe-covered rubber shoes when taking part in water sports activities.
(4)  Craft users aged below 14 must be accompanied by parents / guardians or by persons authorized by their parents / guardians afloat by hiring a craft from the Centre. The parents / guardians or by persons authorized by their parents / guardian must be the applicant.
(5)  Applicant / craft users must produce their personal identity document, relevant and valid certificates, and water sports activity logbooks for verification on the day of the activity.
(6)  Craft users who are unable to meet the requirements as stipulated at pt 1-5 will not be allowed to use the craft.
(7)  Each form should be used for hiring of one craft only, except the craft users aged below 14 accompanied with parents / guardians.
(8)  Applications will be confirmed upon receipt of payment by the Centres.
(9)  Craft users should return all the hired equipment to the Centre before leaving. Should there be any damage or loss; a report should be made to the centre staff immediately. The Centre reserves the right to claim damages against any hirers whose improper use of the equipment has resulted in damage or loss of the equipment.
(10)  Craft users must carry out activities afloat within the waters specified by the Centre.
(11)  Craft users should bring water-proofed whistle on board as personal safety gear.
