* 
* What is the minimum requirement for enrolling in water sports training courses?
  Ans.: Aged 8 or above and be able to swim 50 metres.

* How can I enroll the courses?
  Ans.: Please refer to the programme sheet and see whether the course place will be allotted by first-come-first-served basis or balloting.
For balloting, please send the application form to the centre organizing the activities.
For first-come-first-served basis, you could enroll the courses through LCSD homepage, in person, by mail or by telephone (Tel.: 2927 8080).

* Do I need to go to the centre if the thunderstorm or other warming signals are issued?
  Ans.: If you come for a training course, only when Typhoon Signal No.3 or above and Black Rain Storm Signal hoisted during the 7 am weather forecast, the course will be cancelled. If other signal hoisted, you still need to report to the centre.

If you come for a one day Trip, which including the trip of Silver or Gold Award. When Strong Monsoon Wind Signal, Typhoon Signal No. 1, Thunderstorm Signal and Red Rain Storm Signal were hoisted during the 7 am weather forecast, the Trip will be cancelled.

* What should I bring along with when I participate in the activities at the Centre?
  Ans.: You need to bring along with your identification document, proof of relevant and valid qualification and one pairs of toe and heel covered shoes, t-shirts, sun block lotion, etc

* What is the starting and finishing time of the training course?
  Ans.: The training courses start at 9:00 am and finish at 5:00 pm. Lunch break is from 12:00 noon to 1:00 pm.

* How can I keep my personal belongings during activity?
  Ans.: Our Centre provides coinreturn lockers for free use by participants. Please bring enough $5 or $10 coins or a small-sized or medium-sized padlock.

* Do I need to bring my own lunch pack?
  Ans.: You are welcome to bring your own lunch.

* Do I need to bring my own drinking water?
  Ans.: Our centres have a vending machine providing bottle of water and have drinking fountain.

* Is the Centre open in winter?
  Ans.: The Centre is open all year round. We will provide wet suits for participants free of charge in winter.

* When I ring your centre on some weekday, no one answer? What is happening?
  Ans.: May be you have met our centre close day. Centre close day or beyond the enquiry period. Our Centre's enquiry time is from 9 am to 5 pm. St. Stephen's Beach and The Jockey Club Wong Shek Water Sport Centre is closed on every Tuesday, Stanley Main Beach, Tai Mei Tuk is closed on every Wednesday and Chong Hing is closed on every Thursday.

* If I left something at the centre, what should I do?
  Ans.: Please ring us as soon as possible; if we found you stuff, we will keep them at our centre for several days. You could come and take it if we confirm with you.

* Can I hire the equipment at your Centre if I have attended relevant courses?
  Ans.: Yes, you can. You must produce the proof of relevant qualification upon hiring of crafts for practice.

* What is a package training course?
  Ans.: A package training course is a tailor - made training course arranged for individual groups or organisations. The contents and date of the course will be set in accordance with your interest and requirements.
