Windsurfing is a sport of fun and enjoyment. Once you can master the basic skills after successfully completing the basic training course, you will be able to do windsurfing on your own. You will enjoy the freedom when gliding on the surface of water and the romance of "flying" alongside with seagulls. It will also give you lots of excitement and challenge. When you are blasting on the water, the speed will pick up with the wind and the feeling is so wonderful that you cannot beat it. You may even win a "hurrah" from the spectators on the shore when you finish a smooth yet difficult manoeuvre. Are you ready to take the enjoyment and challenge from windsurfing? Our Water Sports Centres have organised a series of windsurfing training programmes ranging from introductory training to instructor training, so as to enable you to enrich your leisure time, explore your potential and set your own target in this respect.

Basic Windsurfing Training (2-day course)
This course is specially designed to offer you a safe, uncomplicated and enjoyable start to the sport of windsurfing. Our fully-qualified instructors will guide you through the basic skills and theories, including launching, start and landing, sailing techniques and stance, manoeuvres, rigging, self-rescue techniques, sailing theories and safety codes. After passing the assessment, you will be awarded the Basic Windsurfing Award Certificate and may hire a windsurfing board for self practice and enjoy the pleasure of windsurfing.
Entry requirement - Able to swim 50 metres.

Windsurfing Improver Clinic (2-day course)
More practices are the second step for every novice windsurfer who wants to improve his / her skills. In this course, you will learn how to do tacking and gybing faster. The course is also suitable for those who have left the sport for a long time and would like to refresh their skills.
Entry requirement - Holder of Basic Windsurfing Award.

Windsurfing Race Clinic (2-day course)
This course is designed for those who want to take part in windsurfing competitions. It covers all basic rules and necessary skills such as starting, mark rounding and pumping. You will also have the chance to race with other trainees in the course.
Entry requirement - Holder of Basic Windsurfing Award Certificate with 30 logged sailing hours after attaining the Certificate (excluding training hours).

Intermediate Windsurfing Training (2-day course)
Once you are competent in doing windsurfing in all directions in light winds, the intermediate course is the key to open the door of windsurfing paradise. In this course, you will learn how to sail in stronger winds with more advanced techniques, stance, maneuvers and sail rigging, correct harness and harness line adjustment, basic footstrap technique and mast track adjustment. With more knowledge about the sailing theories, you will be able to sail the board in various conditions. After passing the assessment, you may proceed to the advanced windsurfing training and fun board training.
Entry requirement - Holder of Basic Windsurfing Award Certificate with 30 logged sailing hours after attaining the Certificate (excluding training hours).

Windsurfing Racing Training (2-day course)
In this course, you will learn to use high performance racing boards and the knowledge about windsurfing races. The training includes racing techniques, racing signals, sail and rig tuning and racing rules. After completing the course successfully, you should have sufficient basic knowledge and techniques for windsurfing races. You will also be awarded the Attendance Certificate for the training of Windsurfing Races which enable you to hire a racing board for self-practice.
Entry requirement - Holder of Intermediate Windsurfing Award Certificate with 30 logged sailing hours after attaining the Certificate (excluding training hours).

Advanced Windsurfing Training (2-day course)
Specially designed for those who are capable of windsurfing under Beaufort 3. You will learn all practical skills and theories to enhance your windsurfing competency. This course covers the techniques of beach start, water start, sailing stance, rig tuning and carve gybe. For obtaining the Advanced Windsurfing Award Certificate, you are required to show your competence in manoeuvring a race board in Beaufort 4 before the instructor.
Entry requirement - Holder of Intermediate Windsurfing Award Certificate with 30 logged sailing hours after attaining the Certificate (excluding training hours).

Introduction to Shortboard Training (2-day course)
This course is specially designed for windsurfing fanatics who are capable of windsurfing under Beaufort 3 or above. You will learn how to do water start, carve gybe, how to make good use of all features of a funboard and high performance rig to improve your performance in strong wind. Depending on the wind strength, you can use our shorter boards or your own gear to sail. With the certificate, you may hire a funboard for self-practice.
Entry requirement - Holder of Intermediate Windsurfing Award Certificate with 30 logged sailing hours after attaining the Certificate (excluding training hours).

Windsurfing Open Sea Award Training (2-day course)
Specially designed for those who want to go for the Open Sea Award. The course covers the syllabus of the written test and water test. This award is the basic requirement for joining the basic instructor training. No matter whether you wish to be an instructor or not, passing the Windsurfing Open Sea Award. Examination is a recognition of your personal Skills.
Entry requirement - Holder of Intermediate Windsurfing Award Certificate with 30 logged hours after attaining the Certificate (excluding training hours).

Shortboard Training (2-day course)
Funboarding is of great fun. But, can't get that carve gybe? Have problems when planning and water-start? Frustrated funboarder? If the answers are YES, then this course can help solve these problems. In our two-day course, you'll receive committed instruction on all aspects of short-board sailing. Experienced instructors will use simulations, 'on-the-water' coaching and video feedback to help you realize your potential so as to give you necessary coaching to complete transitions and overcome technical barriers in windsurfing.
Entry requirement - Holder of Funboard or Introduction to Shortboard Certificate with 30 logged sailing hours in funboard after attaining the Certificate (excluding training hours).
