The Secretary for Home Affairs, Mr Tsang Tak-sing, visited the Live Site at Sha Tin Park to share the joy of the Olympic Games with members of the public this (August 9) evening.

In order to create a joyful and peaceful Olympic atmosphere in the territory, the LCSD has set up two Olympic Live Sites at Victoria Park and Sha Tin Park. They will be open daily for public participation in the coming 15 days. In addition to the TV screens put up for 12-hours nonstop broadcast of the exciting Olympic competitions, there will also be stage performances with different cultural characteristics and a diverse array of sports and cultural activities and games stalls.
