The Secretary for Home Affairs, Mr Tsang Tak-sing, and the Director of Leisure and Cultural Services, Mrs Betty Fung, today watched the cycling competitions and cheered for the Hong Kong athletes. Picture shows Mr Tsang and Mrs Fung posing with the athlete taking part in the final of women's track race 500-metre time trial, Ms Lee Wai-sze.

Mr Tsang and Mrs Fung arrived at the swimming venue to watch the swimming competitions. Picture shows them with the HK athletes, encouraging them to strive for the best.

Mr Tsang and Mrs Fung toured an exhibition held in Jinan International Convention and Exhibition Centre that highlighted the achievements of national sports over the last sixty years. A photo shows them posing with the mascots of the Hong Kong East Asian Games (EAG), "Dony" and "Ami", at the Hong Kong booth. The 5th EAG, to be hosted by Hong Kong in December, is the theme of the Hong Kong booth.
