* Feeding Birds Not Allowed At LCSD Venues Offenders Will Be Prosecuted

To maintain personal hygiene, keep public places clean and prevent germs that may be carried by birds, the Leisure and Cultural Services Department (LCSD) urges the public not to feed birds at its venues or contact wild birds or their droppings.

It is an offence to feed birds in LCSD venues. As stipulated in the Pleasure Grounds Regulations Cap. 132 Section 11, no one shall in any pleasure ground feed or attempt to feed birds kept or found in the venue. Any person who contravenes the above regulation and is convicted is liable to a maximum fine of $2,000 and 14 days' imprisonment.
