Final Phase

The Final Phase implementation of Government's five-day week scheme will take effect from 1 July 2007. The operating hours of LCSD services as announced in Phase One will remain unchanged.

Phase One

Following the Phase One implementation of Government's five-day week scheme on 1 July 2006, the LCSD has ceased to operate some of its services on Saturdays. Revised operating hours of these services are as follows:

[Booking of leisure facilities (except hard-surface pitches) and enrolment to leisure activities may also be made by the following means:
Leisure Link counter service that is available at over 130 leisure venues throughout the territory. Most of these counters operate daily from 7:00 am to 10:00 pm;
the Leisure Link service on the Internet;

the Leisure Link Telephone Booking Service operated by the Interactive Voice Response System (2927 8080) and the Enquiry Service (2314 7702), which remain available daily from 7:00 am to 9:00 pm.
Booking of hard-surface pitches can be made at the District Leisure Services Offices during opening hours on weekdays.]

With effect from 1 July 2006, the LCSD Headquarters opens from 8:45 am to 1:00 pm and from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm from Monday to Friday (except public holidays).

There is no change in the opening hours of public libraries, museums, performing arts venues, sports centres and other leisure venues.
