Concessionary rates are applicable to schools, subvented non-governmental organisations, full-time students, senior citizens aged 60 or above, and persons with disabilities and their minders (each person may enjoy the concessionary rates with one minder only). Persons with disabilities and their minders may enjoy the concessionary rates at all sessions, while other eligible persons may enjoy the concessionary rates for using most of the land-based recreation and sports facilities during non-peak hours. In order to use the facilities at a concessionary rate, the hirer and all his/her partner(s) must be eligible users.
Hirers/users enjoying the concessionary rates may be requested to produce their valid identification documents (e.g. identity cards, Senior Citizen Cards issued by the Social Welfare Department, student cards or Registration Cards for Persons with Disabilities) before booking and using the land-based recreation and sports facilities as well as during the booked session(s).
Full-time students must produce identification documents, including but not limited to their valid student cards, student handbooks or relevant documents provided/issued by their schools for verification of identity. Personalised Octopus Cards with student status will not be accepted as documentary proof of their student status. If the validity period is not specified on the student card, the venue staff on duty reserve the right to request the student concerned to provide other evidence to prove his/her student status. |
