Characteristics and Behaviour The carapace is brownish yellow, somewhat square in shape, and has three prominent longitudinal keels. The carapace is flattened dorsally within the keel area. The posterior margin of the carapace is strongly serrated. The plastron is yellow with black spots. They prefer warm climate and seldom enter water.

Diet Mainly vegetarian in the wild. Prefer fruits.
