The Corporate Games (the Games) are a series of multi-sport competitions organised by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department (LCSD) specially for the industrial and commercial organisations/public sector in Hong Kong and their employees. They aim to promote team spirit among employees and strengthen their sense of belonging to their respective organisations through participation in the Games. We also hope that the Games can help them develop a habit of doing exercise regularly with a view to promoting "Sports-for-All" and building an energetic and healthy community.
Launched in 1990, the Games have now entered its 17th year. This year, the Games attracted the historical high of 287 organizations to participate, signifying that the Games were greatly supported by the industrial, commercial and public sectors in the territory.
The Corporate Games 2006 cover a total of 14 events including swimming, track and field, distance run, indoor rowing, badminton, table tennis, tennis, 7-a-side mini-soccer, 11-a-side soccer, basketball, volleyball, snooker, tenpin bowling and Dynamic Moments Photo Contest. All competitions have been held from October 2006 to January 2007.
The Corporate Games 2006 - Prize Presentation Ceremony was held on 14 January 2007 and prizes were awarded to the Overall Champions of the respective Groups. The Ceremony marked the successful conclusion of the Games, which had lasted for a span of over three months with a total of thirteen competition events held. Regarding the results of all competition events, you may reach results of competitions. The winning list showing the Overall Champions of the respective Groups is as follows:
