The Corporate Games (the Games) is a series of multi-sport competitions organised by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department (LCSD) specially for the industrial and commercial organisations/public sector in Hong Kong and their employees. It aims to cultivate team spirit among employees and strengthen their sense of belonging to their respective organisations through participation in the Games. We also hope that the Games can help them develop the habit of doing exercise regularly with a view to promoting "Sports-for-All" and building an energetic and healthy community.

Launched in 1990, the Games has now entered its 16th year. Last year, it attracted over 12 000 participants from more than 200 organisations, signifying that the Games was well-received by the industrial, commercial and public sectors in the territory.

The Corporate Games 2005 covered a total of 16 events including swimming, track and field, distance run, indoor rowing, squash, badminton, table tennis, tennis, 7-a-side mini-soccer, 11-a-side soccer, basketball, volleyball, snooker, Dynamic Moments Photo Contest and the newly-added tenpin bowling and orienteering. All competitions have been held between September 2005 and January 2006.

The Corporate Games 2005 - Prize Presentation Ceremony was held on 15 January 2006 and the respective prizes were awarded to the Overall Champions of the respective Groups. The Ceremony marked the successful conclusion of the Games, which had lasted for a span of over three months with a total of fifteen competition events held.
