Enrolment Method:
Other than the Joint Schools Sports Training Programme and activities with dates and venues fixed by the LCSD, all applications submitted by schools will be processed in three phases. Details are as follows:

Phase
Date of Event * Deadline for Application
I Events to be held between
September 2008 and January 2009
On or before 20 June 2008
II Events to be held between
February and June 2009
On or before 15 November 2008
III Events to be held between July and August 2009 On or before 15 April 2009

Applications submitted on or before the deadline will be processed with priority. For applications submitted after the deadline, arrangements will only be made as far as practicable.

Schools which are interested in joining the SSP activities may download the relevant enrolment forms from the LCSD homepage. The completed form should be sent to the LCSD together with a cheque (payable to the NSA concerned (Please refer to Appendix I) or the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region , depending on which is the o rganiser) for full payment of the enrolment fee for each course/activity before the deadline or three months before the date of event. Post-dated cheques will not be accepted.

Schools are advised to arrange the same group of students to receive continuous training for the same school term (about six months) to achieve the best result. Moreover, if schools plan to provide training for their school teams through the Outreach Coaching Programme, they are advised to draw up a whole year training schedule and submit it together with the application to facilitate the NSAs in arranging suitable coaches. The list of school team members should be submitted to the LCSD at the start of the school term. If schools cannot confirm whether training will be arranged for the whole year, they may apply for training on an individual term basis.
