It aims to enhance primary students’ interest in sports and to boost their confidence. With reference to the introductory courses on various sports and with regard to the physique of students, this Programme is designed to help students master the basic skills and techniques of sports correctly with the aid of modified equipment, thereby arousing students’ interest in individual sports. Easy Badges Award Scheme is also introduced to encourage students to take part in sports by letting them know their level of performance. To induce students’ interest in learning easy sports, the LCSD organises the annual Inter-school Easy Sport Competition and invites all primary schools to participate. On completion of the Easy Sport Programme, schools are recommended to arrange students to take part in the Outreach Coaching Programme to enhance their skills as well as for long-term training.
