The target group of this Programme is students in upper primary and secondary schools. Under the Programme, coaches assigned by the NSAs will conduct training in schools and assist schools to set up school teams. From 2002-03 onwards, the LCSD has introduced progressive training and Badges Award Scheme under the Programme. Assessment tests for the awards are designed according to the standard skills required for various sports and the skill indicators of various progressive training courses. Participants are required to master the sports skills and assessed according to their skills presentation. Certificates of different levels will be awarded to participants as a recognition of their achievements. The Programme also aims to sustain students’ interest in various sports and to enhance their skills.
