Objectives The Foundation Course on Community Sports Club Management Development organised by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department (LCSD) aims to strengthen the knowledge of participants in the promotion of district sports development about the volunteer work and the management of Community Sports Clubs (CSCs) through theory teaching and practical training. It is hoped that more volunteer workers can be trained to take up the management of CSCs. It has been seven years since the launch of the course and most members of National Sports Associations (NSAs) and CSCs have already completed the foundation course. An advanced course is now specially devised to further enhance the skills of the staff of NSAs and CSCs in the management of CSCs.
	Eligibility for enrolment All holders of the Certificate issued by the LCSD certifying their completion of the "Community Sports Club Management Development Programme – Foundation Course" are welcome to enrol in this course.

	Fees The course fee is $300. (People aged 60 or above, full-time students or people with a disability who can produce valid documents upon enrolment are entitled to half-fee concession.)
	Methods of enrolment i) Places will be allocated by ballot. ii) The applicant is required to return / mail the completed application form, together with a copy of the Certificate previously issued to him / her certifying his / her completion of the "Community Sports Club Management Development Programme – Foundation Course", within the period for submission of application to the Community Sports Clubs Unit of the Leisure and Cultural Services Department.
