| Tseung Kwan O Sports Ground Introduction | Tseung Kwan O Sports Ground is situated at 109 Po Hong Road, Tseung Kwan O, covering an area of about 6 hectares. Construction works of the sports ground commenced in April 2006 and completed in March 2009. The whole project costs about 4 billion Hong Kong dollars. The major facilities of the sports ground include a main sports ground with a fixed spectator stand, a secondary sports ground and other facilities essential for track and field activities and events. The facilities are designed and constructed in accordance with the standards set by the International Association of Athletics Federations (IAAF) and suitable for holding athletic training and international track and field events.
