The test will cover different age groups, as detailed below.

Data Collection Method

From October 2010 to June 2011

Children

Physical fitness tests and a questionnaire survey will be conducted at randomly-selected primary schools.

From May to November 2011

Infants and Adolescents

Physical fitness tests and a questionnaire survey will be conducted at randomly-selected kindergartens and secondary schools.

From April to December 2011

Adults and Seniors

A questionnaire survey will be conducted at households selected randomly.  Those who have completed the questionnaires will be invited to take the tests at designated locations.

Note: The Leisure and Cultural Services Department reserves the right to change the test date.
