To keep up the enthusiasm for sports displayed by the community during the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games and Paralympic Games, the Leisure and Cultural Services Department joins hands with the Department of Health in organising this carnival-typed activity named “Healthy Exercise for All Campaign – Healthy Living Fair to Welcome Major Sports Events”. Through participation in this activity, members of the public can learn about various types of sports and gain relevant health knowledge. They can also set for themselves at the beginning of the year a target of actively participating in sports with a view to establishing a healthy life-style and welcoming hand in hand the major sports events such as the East Asian Games and the 2nd Hong Kong Games to be held in the territory in 2009.
