| Exercise and Health Roving Exhibitions |
To step up publicity for the "Healthy Exercise for All Campaign", and to heighten public awareness of the health benefits of regular exercise, the Leisure and Cultural Services Department (LCSD) and the Department of Health will join hands to hold the Exercise and Health Roving Exhibitions in LCSD sports centres as well as various shopping centres, elderly centres, youth centres, government offices and schools, conveying the message of "Daily exercise keeps us fit, people of all ages can do it".
Apart from introducing exercises specially designed for children, adults and elders as well as health information, the Exhibitions will also feature quiz games and CD-ROM playing to give the public a clear picture of the relationship between exercise and health.
The Roving Exhibitions held in shopping centers will stage demonstrations and play-in activities so as to promote different kinds of sports activities to the public. This year, LCSD has acquired sponsorship from a number of property management companies, which have kindly consented to allow the free use of some of their shopping centres as exhibition venues. These shopping centers include those under the management of The Link Management Limited, Sino Group and Sun Hung Kai Properties Limited.
