Introduction
The Physical Fitness Test Day features tests in three areas, namely physical measurements, cardiovascular ability and physical ability. Results will be available upon completion of the test and experienced physical fitness professionals stand ready at the venues to give advice. The test enables participants to have a grasp of their physical fitness.

Enrolment Method
The activity can be enrolled on a first-come-first served basis through the enrolment methods listed below
1.   Enrol in person at any District Leisure Services Offices or any recreation and sports venues with Leisure Link Services
2.   Enrolment by telephone
3.   Enrolment by mail (Address: Major Events Section, 2/F., Leisure and Cultural Services Headquarters, 1-3 Pai Tau Street, Sha Tin, Hong Kong)
4.   Enrolment through Leisure Link Self-service Kiosk


Test procedures
Station 1: Registration
1.   Participants shall report to the Registration Counter by bringing along with the admission cards and valid photo-bearing identity document (e.g. Hong Kong Permanent Identity Card, Hong Kong Identity Card, student card or student handbook) 15 min before the session time.

(Participants should attend the activity on time. If they are late for ten minutes or above, their places will be allocated on a first-come-first-served basis to other persons waiting in the venue.)
2.   Complete the Physical Activity Readiness Questionnaire, sign the consent form and take the test record card.

Station 2: Physical Fitness Test
Test items included the followings.
1.   Physical Measurements: Height, Weight and Waist circumference
2.   Cardiovascular Ability: Resting Heart Rate, Resting Blood Pressure, 3-min Step Test
3.   Physical Ability: 1-min Sit-up Test, Push-up Test, Sit-and-reach Test, Hand Grip Test, Vertical Jump, Closed Eyes Balance Stand, Reaction Time Test

Station 3: Physical Fitness Consultation and Advice
Participants will be presented with the test results immediately after completing the test. Experienced physical fitness professionals are ready to offer expert advice on site.


Tips for attending the Test
You are advised to consult doctor or medical professional to ensure that your physical condition is suitable for taking the tests. Participants should also heed the following tips:
1.   Put on appropriate sportswear and sports shoes;
2.   Do sufficient warm-up and cool-down exercises before and after taking the physical fitness test;
3.   No full or empty stomach before taking the tests; and
4.   Stop immediately and seek our testers assistance if you feel unwell during the tests.


Arrangements under Inclement Weather Conditions
If a Pre-No. 8 Special Announcement (an advance notice issued by the Hong Kong Observatory when Tropical Cyclone Warning Signal No. 8 is expected within 2 hours) or Tropical Cyclone Warning Signal No. 8 or above or a Black Rainstorm Signal is issued by the Hong Kong Observatory at 9am, the activities on that day will be cancelled.
