Dear ladies and sisters, we recommend you to ¡K..photo

Daily habits :

  1. Get off your means of transportation one or two stops earlier and walk for 15 minutes daily.
  2. Minimise the use of escalators and lifts. Instead, take the stairs more regularly.
  3. Go to the park to do exercise, such as Tai Chi, stretching exercise and walking, after taking your children to school.
  4. Take a 30-minute's walk after lunch.
  5. Go to the sports venues in the afternoon and join some training classes and fun-for-all activities, such as yoga, multi-gym fitness, dancing and hydro-fitness exercise.

On holidays:

Play your favourite sports with your family or friends. This not only fosters your interest in sports but also strengthens your communication with your family and friends.

At home:

  1. Do housework to exercise your limbs.
  2. Do stretching exercise while watching the television.
  3. Use lightweight dumb-bells (1 pound to 2 pounds in weight) to do muscular training exercise while taking care of your children.
  4. Move your joints and stretch the muscles involved regularly to relax the tense and fatigued muscles if you have been doing the same repetitive movements or maintaining a sustained posture for a long time.
  5. Take several deep breaths when having a warm bath to unwind after a long hard day and give you a good sleep at night.

Information on exercise suitable for women is available at the following website: http://www.lcsd.gov.hk/healthy/b5/women.php.
