Greening
School Subsidy Scheme 2009/2010
The Leisure and Cultural Services Department (LCSD))

The Greening School Subsidy Scheme embraces the following ¡V
| (a)

Schools to submit proposals on greening school projects ; |
| (b)
|
LCSD to provide subsidy for schools to implement the approved greening projects and activities ; |
| (c)
|
LCSD to arrange lecturers experienced in horticulture to visit participating schools advising on the proposed greening school projects and monitor the implementation ; |
| (d)
|
LCSD to adjudicate and present Greening School Project Award to meritorious schools. |

To encourage campus greening, promote a green culture among students and cultivate their interest in growing plants.

All local registered secondary, primary, special schools and kindergartens may apply. In case of over-subscription, priority will be given to schools which have never participated in the Scheme.

Please complete the application form at Annex
2 and provide details of estimated expenditure in Annex
3. All applications should reach the Zoo and Horticulture Education Unit by fax (Fax No: 2367 0556) or by post (Address: 1/F, Kowloon Park Office, 22 Austin Road, Tsim Sha Tsui, Kowloon) on or before the closing date.
