Greening School Subsidy Scheme

The Leisure and Cultural Services Department (LCSD)

The Greening School Subsidy Scheme embraces the following -

(a)	Schools to submit proposals on greening school projects ;
(b)	LCSD to provide subsidy for schools to implement the approved greening projects and activities ;
(c)	LCSD to arrange lecturers experienced in horticulture to visit participating schools advising on the proposed greening school projects and monitor the implementation.
(d)	LCSD to adjudicate and present Greening School Project Award to meritorious schools.

To encourage campus greening, promote a green culture among students and cultivate their interest in growing plants.

All local registered secondary, primary, special schools and kindergartens may apply. In case of over-subscription, priority will be given to schools which have never participated in the Scheme.

Please complete the application form at Annex 2 and provide details of estimated expenditure in Annex 3. All applications should reach the Zoo and Horticulture Education Unit by fax (Fax No: 2367 0556) or by post (Address: 1/F, Kowloon Park Office, 22 Austin Road, Tsim Sha Tsui, Kowloon) on or before the closing date.
