Outdoor Learning Activities - Guided Visits to Leisure and Cultural Services Department's Facilities

Our Zoo and Horticulture Education Unit endeavours to support environmental education. Outdoor Learning Activities are organised and arrange guided visits for school pupils or organisations to Hong Kong Zoological and Botanical Gardens, Hong Kong Park (Conservatory and Aviary), Tuen Mun Park (Reptile House), Tai Po Waterfront Park (Insect House), Kowloon Park, nurseries (Middle and Lower Shouson Hill Nursery and Tung Tsz Nursery) as well as the Green Education and Resource Centre. Through talks conducted by our guides and field observation, these activities aim to provide opportunities for school pupils and the public to learn more about plants and animals, enhance their awareness of taking good care of plants and animals as well as their recognition of the importance of environmental protection.
