Guided Visits to Tai Po Waterfront Park (Insect House)

*

(A) Purposes :

To provide opportunities for pupils to know more about the characteristics and habits of different types of insects through field observation and explanation by special guides, so that they may recognize the importance of animal conservation.

(B) Highlights :

The general classification of animals and characteristics of different types of insects will be described. Pupils will be guided around to see the insect specimens to understand the life process of insects and their adaptation to the environment.

Application Method

:

Applications for the above activities will be accepted from 1 September 2014 onwards. Primary schools interested in these activities can apply by completing the Application Form at Annex 3 and submit the forms by fax or by post. Due to limited places, applications will be processed on a first-come-first-served basis.(We will accept applications by fax commencing at 9:00 am on 1 September 2014. Applications by fax or by post received before 1 September 2014 will not be entertained.)
