Categories
The Award is presented in five categories. Three for private developments and two for public projects.
1.1 Private Developments

a. Large Scale Residential Property (more than 1 000 units)
Class 1: Soft Landscape Design Award
  1. Properties up to 10 years of age
  2. Properties between 11 to 20 years of age
  3. Properties over 20 years of age
Class 2: Horticultural Maintenance Award
  1. Properties up to 10 years of age
  2. Properties between 11 to 20 years of age
  3. Properties over 20 years of age
 
b. Residential Property (1 000 units or less)
Class 3: Soft Landscape Design Award
  1. Properties up to 10 years of age
  2. Properties between 11 to 20 years of age
  3. Properties over 20 years of age
Class 4: Horticultural Maintenance Award
  1. Properties up to 10 years of age
  2. Properties between 11 to 20 years of age
  3. Properties over 20 years of age
 
c. Non-residential Property, such as aided schools, private hospitals
Class 5: Soft Landscape Design Award
  1. Properties up to 10 years of age
  2. Properties between 11 to 20 years of age
  3. Properties over 20 years of age
Class 6: Horticultural Maintenance Award
  1. Properties up to 10 years of age
  2. Properties between 11 to 20 years of age
  3. Properties over 20 years of age
 
[Note: The age of the property (determined as on the day of close of registration) is based on the date of occupation permit issued by the Building Authority.]
 

1.2 Public Projects

a. Infrastructures Category – greening of infrastructures such as parks, gardens, public amenity areas, roads, bridges, railways, reservoirs, drainage works, piers, slopes etc., except buildings which fall into separate categories.
Class 7: Soft Landscape Design Award

  2. roads, bridges, railways, drainage works, piers, slopes, reservoirs
Class 8: Horticultural Maintenance Award
  1. parks, gardens, public amenity areas

Class 9: Soft Landscape Design Award
  1. residential
  2. non-residential
Class 10: Horticultural Maintenance Award
  1. residential
