The 'Whisper of Spring' Photo Competition is one of the major fringe activities of the Hong Kong Flower Show 2005. The purpose of organizing this activity is to produce impressive photographs of exquisite flowers put on display, interesting or touching scenes captured at the Showground, as well as portraits of TVB artistes and Miss Hong Kong with background of garden displays with a view to promoting community greening.

The Competition was conducted in three categories, namely 'Portrait of TVB Artistes and Miss Hong Kong', 'Flowers' and 'Snapshots'. First, second, third and highly commended prizes were awarded to meritorious entries in each category.
